Four PH men lined up for Sunday’s Men’s 10k in Edinburgh and it proved to be a good morning’s work with all four achieving new personal bests over the scenic city centre route.

The runners started on the Royal Mile before a fast downhill section on the Mound. The course then headed along Princes Street Gardens, back into the Old Town and through Holyrood Park before racing back across town to the finish at Murrayfield Stadium.

First home in 10th place overall was Stuart Mackay, clocking 34.38, with Darren Candlish the next PH finisher, exactly 3 minutes later. Darren was followed by Mark Mackenzie (40.08) and Scott Blyth (41.56) meaning good results for all, and well deserved after recent training.

Meanwhile in New York City, Jonathan Peebles added another Marathon Major to his CV with a 3.07.27 finish. On Saturday Andy Jannetta and Arron Leitch completed the Glen Ogle 33 mile ultra.
