Ben Hukins was in top form at the Dales Trail Series 30km (DT30) race in North Yorkshire on Saturday morning. The challenging route featured over 2,500 feet of climbing including a steep, rocky descent before heading off across some of the country’s remotest expanses of moorland. Congratulations to Ben who won the race in 2 hours 30 mins 20 seconds.

Racing Club were represented by five members at the Beveridge Park 5k on Friday evening where Wright Beveridge claimed 7th place overall in 18.42. Martin McNellis was the leading M50 finishing 8th in 18.46 while Graham McInnes was 16th in 20.01. Andy Jannetta was 21st in 20.19 while, on her PH debut, Lesley Halstead placed 11th lady in 24.31.

Stuart Mackay had a strong run at the Musselburgh 10K finishing the leading PH Racing Club member and 14th overall in 36.09. Jonathan Peebles was close behind finishing 17th in 36.23 while Mary Western was the first Female 50 finisher and 5th lady overall in 40.27.

Michael Combe placed 2nd at the St Andrews parkrun 5k in 17.30 while at Dunfermline, Scott Love was 2nd in 19.57.
