Last night we held a hugely successful Open Night with almost 40 in total at the Loop for a simple but very good session of 12 x 1 minute with 2 minute recoveries. Thanks to all the club members and guests who attended.
There was a good mix of new faces including a junior runner, women, senior men and veteran men which was great to see. There was positive feedback from everyone and we have already seen three new members sign up with hopefully more to follow. It was also great to see some members who hadn’t been along for a while, a lapsed member coming along to watch even though unable to run through injury and also a member of another club taking the opportunity to see what training at the famous Pan Handle Loop is all about!
If you weren’t able to make it along last night but want to improve your running and are still interested in trying out a session or two you would still be very welcome. Most sessions start at 6.15pm at the Loop (Castle Brae, Dunfermline) each Tuesday and Thursday. Please do get in touch via social media or email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance just in case we are training elsewhere. Tomorrow (16th January) training is at Dunfermline Public Park, meeting at the bandstand, warmed up, at 6.15pm for a hill session of 12 x 45 seconds with jog recoveries.
If you are already convinced then PH Racing Club membership is available on EntryCentral!
