This weekend saw PH Racing Club members race in the hills of the Yorkshire Dales and the trails of the West Highland Way.

Martyn Davidson raced at the gruelling 3 Peaks Race in Yorkshire on Saturday morning. This annual event, now in its 62nd year, involves the runners covering 38km with over 1500m of climbing. Marty put in a strong performance improving his own personal best by over 7 minutes finishing in a time of 3.45.48

Martin Butcher was in action at the Highland Fling, a 53 mile trail race which takes place every year in April. The route follows the West Highland Way, Scotland’s oldest official long distance footpath, through the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. This was Martin’s second time racing the Fling. A strong performance saw him improve his previous time by over 14 minutes timing at 8.44.33 to finish in 22nd postion.

At the Road To The Isles Half Marathon Hannah Devey placed 3rd female and 11th overall, while there was another win for Ed Norton in the Veteran 60 category and Keith Vandermotton finished 13th overall.
