It was a case of another month, another half marathon and another age category club record for Keith Vandermotten, this time at the Lea Valley Velopark Half Marathon at the Olympic Park in London on Saturday.  Without the aid of a running watch, Keith ran an incredibly evenly paced 1.31.36 to further improve his V50 record for at least the third month in succession and place 10th overall.

Much closer to home, and fresh from the previous night’s festivities, three PH racers made the short trip to Pitreavie Stadium for Sunday’s second annual Jingle Bell race.  Billed as a 5k, but in reality a good 4-500 metres shorter, this nevertheless provhed a fun yet fruitful event as all three took home prizes.

Finishing second overall was Scott Love in 18.06 with Zoe Stuart finishing as third female in a time of 20.35.  Ed Norton was also a prize winner for the second year in a row, posting a time of 19.33 to win the V65 prize.

Well done to all and thanks to Campbell McNair for the photos.
