PH Racing Club enjoyed further success this weekend with a selection of superb results around the country.
Anne Hartmann was in winning ways at the Sheriffmuir 11 producing an excellent performance where she set a new ladies course record of 1.13.32. Roger Clark was also in top form finishing an excellent 2nd overall and leading Male 40 in a fast 1.05.21.
Rachel Drummond continues to go from strength to strength and produced a tremendous run to win the ladies race at the Forth Bridge 10K in a personal best of 41.10. The Racing Club men also excelled with Stuart Mackay covering the challenging 6.2 mile route in 35.08 finishing 2nd overall, with team mate Jonathan Peebles placing 3rd male in 35.15.
Scott Love was the next PH athlete home in 14th position timing at 39.28 to ensure team success for the men. Ed Norton continued his great form winning the M60 title in 42.52. Natalie Brown also set a new personal best of 48.55.
Zoe Stuart flew the Racing Club colours at the Gateshead 10K Trail Race on Saturday morning setting a new best of 46.08
Racing Club’s coach Ben Hukins won the Balmullo Trail Race on Wednesday evening to claim the overall Fife Midweek Series Title with club mate Ryan Lafferty placing 3rd at in the race.
Ryan Lafferty placed 1st at the Kirkcaldy parkrun in 16.59 ahead of Scott Blyth (12th in 20.44) and Ed Norton, 13th in 20.46. Jason Buttery ran a new best of 21.29 at the Hartlepool parkrun finishing 16th and Ian Johnston placed 6th at Dunfermline in 20.27.
