PH Racing Club member Ben Hukins continued his excellent form on the mountains winning Sunday’s Peaks Sky Race covering the gruelling 48 km course with 2000 meters of climbing in an exceptional 4 hours 36 minutes.

Mary Western was in superb form over the weekend winning the New Lanark 10km Trail Race on Sunday in 49.11, while on Saturday she broke her own age category record at Edinburgh parkrun in 18.59 which puts Mary into 5th on the UK rankings.

Jonathan Peebles also represented PH at the York 10k, covering the 6.2 mile route in 36.20 finishing in 22nd position.  He can be seen below in his obligatory post race photo!

Michael Combe recorded an excellent 17.27 placing first at the St Andrews parkrun while Natalie Brown clocked 24.33 over at Edinburgh parkrun. Martin McNellis was 6th in 18.38 while Scott Love finished 8th in 19.08 at the Linwood parkrun and Leanne Jubb was 5th lady at Kirkcaldy in 24.26. At Dunfermline parkrun, fast improving Jonathan Campbell was 4th in 19.24, Ed Norton was 14th in 21.49 and Mark MacKenzie 15th in 22.04.

PH now turn our attention to the sold out Carnegie Harriers Memorial Race on Tuesday where we have 32 entries, we look forward to an excellent race and warm welcome.
