Four members of PH Racing Club travelled west to contest the Vale of Leven 10K from Alexandria on Sunday morning. Andrew Smith was the leading Racing Club runner to finish placing 33rd overall in a highly competitive field in 36.35. Martin McNellis covered the challenging 6.2 mile course in 39.15 while in-form Mary Western recorded a fast 39.40 whilst finishing first Female 50. On his PH debut, Mark Western clocked a time of 40.56.

Jonathan Peebles and Rachel Drummond toed the line at the undulating Milngavie 8.5 mile trail race. Jonathan produced an excellent run finishing 4th overall in 56.34 while Rachel was also in top form placing 3rd lady in 1.07.58. At the Great Women’s 10K in Glasgow, Lorraine Abbot was amongst several thousand runners taking part where she clocked another personal best.

Many PH members took part in parkruns on Saturday morning with Ben Hukins placing 1st at Kirkaldy in 17.58 and Robyn Warrender, 1st lady in 22.05. Scott Love recorded a time of 19.57 in 12th position followed by Ed Norton who was leading M60 in 20.54 and Isla Mitchell who recorded a course personal best was 4th lady.

At the Edinburgh parkrun, Scott Blyth posted a time of 20.44 while at Dunfermline parkrun, Graham McInnes placed 5th in 20.08.
