Congratulations James on an excellent result.

On Wednesday, Jonathan Peebles and Rachel Drummond both tackled the Corstorphine AAC 5 mile road race. This is a tough undulating course which starts with a fast downhill before a sharp incline towards the town and round Cammo.  Another uphill section is quickly followed by a sharp downturn in the road to the 3 mile mark. Just before the 4 mile mark there is another incline before the course drops to a fast finish just off Turnhouse Road. Jonathan placed 14th overall in 29.19 and Rachel finished 5th female in 34.21.

Also on Wednesday, Racing Club’s coach Ben Hukins took part in the Hill of Tarvit race, Held over a scenic course along bridle-paths, road and footpaths. Ben was the fastest athlete to complete the tough course taking the win in an excellent 32.56.
