There was an impressive turnout of 16 PH Racing Club members at the Beveridge Park 5k in Kirkcaldy on Friday evening with many fast times recorded.

Racing Club’s coach Ben Hukins ran an exceptionally quick 15.36 finishing 2nd overall while Ryan Lafferty on his PH debut clocked a superb 16.30 crossing the line in an excellent 3rd place. Darren Jubb continues to go from strength to strength covering his 3.1 miles in 17.12 to place 5th overall with club mate Stuart Mackay running a course PB of 17.22 in 6th position.

Campbell Hutt clocked 18.16 to finish 11th overall while Martin McNellis timed at 18.16 placing 12th and leading Male 50. Johnny Cassells on his return to fitness posted a strong run finishing 18th and first Male 40 in 18.41.

Karen Kennedy enjoyed another excellent run to place 3rd lady overall and 1st Female 40 in 18.55 while junior athlete Daniel Smith timed at 18.58 in 25th position. Alex Keenan finished 29th in 19.15, David Pugh on his club debut timed at 19.35 in 32nd place, Scott Love was 36th in 19.52 and Scott Blyth went ‘sub 20’ timing at 19.59 in 39th position.

Ed Norton was in top form placing first Male 60 in 20.07 while Keith Vandermotten finished 55th in 20.50 and Justine Vandermotten set a PB of 21.10.
