Well done once again to Luke McNeil, whose superb club record run of 31:56 at our own Tilli 10k has been voted the Run of Month for December 2025. This is the second month in a row, and third in the last four, that Luke has won this award.

Luke was a clear winner of the vote this time, but well done also to our other nominated runners, four of whom were short-listed for their performances at the East District XC Championships at Stirling University. All four PH athletes who took part in the event finished in the top three for their age category: Julie Menzies 3rd V50; Andy Davis 2nd V50; Ben Hukins 3rd V45 and Malcolm Hammond 1st V75, and in fact beating all V70s as well!

The final nominee was Peter Gibson for his excellent run of 16:56 at Edinburgh parkrun on Christmas Day morning, when he finished in fifth place overall.
