Ed Norton was back in action at the Scottish Masters Championships in Dundee recently where he added two outdoor track titles to the cross country, indoor and road titles he already held.

First up was the 800m where Ed ran 2:46.35 to win V70 gold in a personal best time, and new championship record. This time also ranks Ed 5th in the UK in 2022.

A couple of hours later it was time for the 1500m, where Ed once again broke the championship record with an excellent time of 5:41.80 to clinch another V70 gold medal. This run was also the 5th quickest among UK athletes in the V70 category this year.

Having added these two gold medals, Ed now holds a total of eight Scottish titles across various disciplines, as well as two second place finishes at the Masters XC and 5k road championships, and a British silver over 10k.

Congratulations once again to Ed and thanks to Scottish Athletics for putting on an excellent event in Dundee. Race photographs by Bobby Gavin.
