Ten Racing Club athletes made the trip to Lornshill Academy in Alloa for the second East League Cross Country meeting on Saturday.

The men’s team were lead home by Darren Jubb in 35.05 followed by Stuart Mackay (36.13),  under 20 athlete Daniel Smith (36.18) and Dan Monaghan (36.38).  Scott Love and Ian Johnston filled the remaining two counting positions to secure 12th place for the club overall and top West Fife club.  The PH contingent was completed by Jonathan Campbell and Calum Vallance, making his PH cross country debut on the tough 9k course.

Prior to the men’s race Mary Western was the sole PH representative in the ladies race while Adam Vallance also made his cross country bow in Racing Club colours in the under 17 men’s race.  Both of these were run over a 6.2k, three lap, course.

Well done to all PH competitors and thanks once again to Steve Adam and John Mill for the fantastic race photos.
