Racing Club’s Jonathan Peebles contested the Great North 10K Road Race in Gateshead on Sunday morning where he placed 12th overall recording a personal best of 36.21 over the testing 6.2 mile course.

Roger Clark and Anne Hartmann were in excellent form at the challenging Stonehaven Half Marathon also on Sunday morning. Roger who is only just returning from injury ran a very strong race finishing 3rd overall in 1.19.42. Anne also produced another superb performance placing 3rd lady in 1.29.09.

Ryan Lafferty was first finisher at Kirkcaldy parkrun in a time of 16.50. Meanwhile, several PH members were in action at the Dunfermline parkrun where Scott Love recorded a time of 19.51 in 5th position followed home by Dennis Howett (6th in 20.03) and Graham McInnes who was 7th in 20.15. Scott Blyth set a new best of 20.46 in 10th position while Ed Norton was the leading Male 60 (20th overall) in 21.42. Leanne Jubb was the only PH lady taking part, crossing the line in 26.39.

The last 7 days has been extremely successful for PH Racing Club on the hills, trails and road. Very well done to all our members and it’s highly encouraging to see that all the hard training sessions are paying dividends when racing.
