Congratulations to PH Racing Club’s Ryan Lafferty who finished 2nd overall in Sunday’s Glenrothes 10k clocking a personal best time of 34.45. Hot on his heels was fast improving Colin Somerville who timed at 35.09 in 4th position. Wright Beveridge was the next Racing Club member across the line placing 14th in 38.02. Martin McNellis finished 2nd Male 50 (26th overall) in 39.05 while Scott Love was 39th in 40.22. John Cassells timed at 40.31 and well done to Arron Leitch who, on his PH debut, finished 66th in 43.08. Mark MacKenzie placed 69th in 43.15 and Andy Jannetta clocked at PB of 43.19 in 70th position.
Meanwhile at the Bannockburn 702 10k, sole Racing Club runner Jonathan Campbell placed 13th overall in a strong time of 39.29.
Darren Jubb was the leading PH runner at the Beveridge Park 5k on Friday evening where he placed 4th overall in 17.40. Wright Beveridge clocked 18.23 in 6th position while Graham McInnes on his club debut finished 13th in 19.38 closely followed by Darran Neilson (19.42) and Scott Love (19.48). Ed Norton was the leading Male 60 in 20.24, Andy Jannetta timed at 21.02 and Natalie Brown was the 8th lady in 24.50.
Martin McNellis was in good form at the Kirkintilloch 10K last Thursday evening where he clocked 38.56 placing 27th overall and 2nd Male 50.
There was the usual activity at the Saturday morning parkruns with Lesley Halstead making her PH debut with a course PB of 24.21 at Falkirk. Latest member Jason Buttery made both his PH and parkrun debuts at his home course Hartlepool setting a good mark of 23.23.
