The 17th edition of the popular Strathallan 5 Mile Road Race took place in Forgandenny on Saturday evening with five PH Racing Club members taking part. Suzy Goodall clocked an impressive 32.03 to finish 3rd lady overall while team mate Rachel Drummond ran an excellent race placing 5th lady in a personal best of 33.29. Ian Johnston completed the undulating two lap course in 32.01 in 15th position, Scott Love timed at 32.48 in 19th place and Andy Janetta was 27th in 34.04. Well done to Carnegie Harriers for organising another superb event.

Jonny Peebles donned the PH vest whilst holidaying in France where he placed 10th overall in the Cassis trail race in Marseille covering the ardous 16km complete with 850m of climbing in 1.16.30.

Rachel Drummond was back in competitive action on Sunday morning finishing 2nd lady at the Running for Change 5K trail race at Archerfield. Closer to home, there was a good representation of PH vests at the Woodmill Road Runners 5k where Scott Love finished 4th overall closely followed by Darran Neilson in 5th position.  Mark Mackenzie, Keith Vandermotten and Ed Norton also placed highly.

Mary Western was in fine form on the hills on Saturday where she finished 2nd Female 50 at the Traprain Law Hill Race from East Linton in 50.41.

Several Racing Club members took part in parkrun events on Saturday morning with Martin McNellis finishing 2nd at Drumchapel, Iain Taylor was 3rd at Kirkcaldy and Ed Norton finished the leading Male 60 in Edinburgh.
