Four PH Racing Club members were amongst 5,000 runners taking part in Sunday’s Great Edinburgh Run which was held over a challenging 10 mile course around the City Centre and Holyrood Park. Making his PH debut, Michael Combe excelled finishing 18th overall in a fast time of 1.00.22. Hot on his heels was Jonathan Peebles who recorded 1.00.55 placing 20th. Wallace Mitchell continues to get stronger with every race, setting a personal best of 1.07.59 while Ed Norton finished 2nd M60 in a PB of 1.12.11. Well done everyone!

PH Racing Club member, Ben Hukins produced an outstanding first leg performance for his 1st claim club (Ron Hill Cambuslang) at the National 12 Stage Road Relays in Birmingham. Racing against many of the UK’s leading distance athletes Ben recorded an impressive 27.33 for his 8.5km long stage. RH Cambuslang finished a very credible 19th club overall from the 67 clubs taking part.  Well done Ben and all the guys at RH Cambuslang.  Hopefully we will see a PHRC team running there before long…
