Dear Tilli 10k’er,

I hope you are looking forward to being part of the best winter 10k in Scotland tomorrow. The weather is looking favourable thankfully, so ideal PB conditions.

This is also your final ‘reminder about various stuff’ email:

  1. Please come to registration in the Devonvale Hall to collect your number and timing chip. Registration will be open from 8.15 until 9.50 so please leave yourself enough time. Just go to the desk that corresponds with the first letter of your surname. Remember to also pick up your beer (or soft drink for juniors)
  2. The hall has toilets, and you’re free to change and leave your bag here (at your own risk).
  3. Please park courteously in Tillicoultry. There’s plenty of space on the streets of the village even if it means a few minutes walk to the start. No parking or cars are permitted on Elistoun Drive next to the hall as this is used for the start and finish. The road is also still open to residents so please take care when warming up and also after you finish.
  4. I aim to start the race at 10.00am but please be lined up for the race briefing at 9.55am. The start line will be clearly marked and is on the Devon Way itself. As the path is narrow please position yourself commensurate with your ability – fastest at the front!

These are the main things to know for now. Other event details I’ll cover off at the start line briefing.

See you all tomorrow.
