Eighteen members of PH Racing Club gathered in the Dunfermline Glen for the now traditional Festive parkrun, an opportunity to blow the cobwebs off before the Christmas Night Out and Awards later on.
Of course, parkrun isn’t supposed to be a race but we do make an exception to this here and have an award for the first PH male, female and best age-graded run other than those two.
Aaron Bennet picked up the male prize for the first time, finishing second overall in 17:54 behind the Fife AC’s, Carter Taylor. Second PH male was Dan Monaghan, in 18:58, with Bryan Innes pipping Scott Love to third in 20:25.

Kristin Lownie was first female overall in 19:22 and won the PH trophy for a fourth time. Julie Menzies picked up the Age Graded award for her run of 20:30, which equates to 84.96% and also placed her second female overall. Clare Graham tells us she was third PH female home, though seems to have had some gremlins with the results!

Malcolm Hammond came second in our PH age-graded competition with a time of 23:53 giving a score of 80.30%, ahead of Ed Norton who posted 77.21% despite picking up an injury en route.
Well done to all and thanks to Hazel, Michelle and all the volunteers who put on this great event each week. Thanks also to John Rennie for the race photos.
