Congratulations to PH Racing Club members Julie Menzies and Ed Norton who have both been selected to represent Scotland at the forthcoming Home Nations Cross Country International. The event is being staged on home soil for the first time since 2016 and will take place at Tollcross in Glasgow in November.

This is a third call up for Norton who earned his place in the M70 quartet based on his recent performances, having been unable to attend the trial race, held in over the same Tollcross course at the start of September. Ed added another two Scottish track titles at 800m and 1500m to his ever-growing collection over the summer so it’s certainly no surprise to see him selected.

Menzies was pleased to secured her first Scotland vest at the trial. Conditions were unusual for cross country with 25 degree heat but this did not deter Julie who placed first in the F50 category with a time of 25 minutes exactly.

Well done to both and good luck in November’s race!
